Partner Organizations

Food Day is honored to acknowledge the diverse list of enthusiastic partners and generous supporters who have contributed their time, funds, and energy to make Food Day a great success. We know it takes a broad community of forward-thinking individuals, nonprofit organizations, government, and the business community* to ensure that Food Day engages and mobilizes the American people to solve food-related problems and we are grateful for their support.

Advice: I volunteer with a group of women and men in my community who purchase out of pocket food to help feed a large community of homeless who live in woods. How might we attempt to incorporate this in acknowledgement for those we help and how might we present this as a community drive to local government?
We are not a 501, nor do we work with any non-profits. But we do need assistance with food. Many of us work and have families, but it’s taxing our incomes in the short term and long term.
I am committed to what we do but I would love to incorporate a Food Day education somehow..but I’m stumped for any ideas.
Please only serious suggestions. Something that is grassroots. Your advice is much appreciated.

We support Food Day and know the importance of nutrition education. If you need some free printable worksheets for elementary school and preschool that teach children about the fun of healthy natural foods, you can find it I like this site because it is written all by nurses and dietitians.
