ABOUT THE CROPS FARM
C.R.O.P.S. (Community Reaps Our Produce and Shares) is a Multnomah County initiative led by Chair Jeff Cogen
. What used to be a vacant county owned lot in Troutdale is now a community farm in which all the harvests are donated to the Oregon Food Bank. The project is now in its fourth season and thriving with successful harvests, lots of volunteers, and numerous benefits for the community. Not only does it help people in need, but it reduces carbon emissions, gives people an opportunity to eat healthier, and strengthens the local economy.
