As an airline and retail caterer, LSG Sky Chefs has a unique opportunity to participate in the second annual Food Day event to further knowledge, understanding, and dialogue about critical topics in food, agriculture, and nutrition.
Since participating in the 2011 Food Day effort, we have incorporated multiple national and regional events to help promote an overall wellness mindset. In the weeks leading up to this year’s October 24 Food Day event, we will be facilitating an internal education campaign that includes flyers, healthy recipes and promotion of local farmers markets to our approximately 8,600 employees throughout the nation.
Each year our teams will look to find fun and innovative ways to promote Food Day and wellness for our employees.
