(Please note: as of October 20th, the lunch reservations are now at full capacity, but please feel free to visit the garden, see the ribbon-cutting at noon, meet President Anderson, and talk with the folks at the Center for Sustainability).
Join us for lunch and a ribbon cutting/dedication to celebrate the opening of the 'Ville-age Garden, a new organic vegetable, herb, and flower garden currently being created by Dr. Nadine Garner, Director of the Center for Sustainability, and the Millersville University community. We will be serving delicious food from The Seed and George St. Cafe, and guests can sample greens from our fall planting. The event is from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. President John Anderson will assist in the ribbon cutting at noon. The event is free and open to the public - reservations are required to reserve lunch for the first 50 people who respond. The Center for Sustainability - formerly the Sustainability Education and Research Project (SERP) - is a new branch of the Civic and Community Engagement and Research Project (CCERP) of Millersville University.
